2026-0052 2026 International Day of Education On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: January 20, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: 0000 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby proudly recognizes January 24th as International Day of Education , and additionally, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we, the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas, reaffirms our commitment to breaking down barriers, expanding opportunity, and ensuring that quality education is not a privilege, but a reality for all.
