Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

The Travis County Deferred Compensation Committee regularly reviews the County’s investment options and the Plan’s Investment Policy Statement (IPS). During the Committee’s August meeting, the committee approved the following recommendation for consideration by the Travis County Commissioners Court:

Add the T. Rowe Price 2065 and 2070 options to the plan’s Target Date Fund menu

Funds are routinely recommended to be added when the thresholds for the funds are reached.

The Committee would also like to update the Court on changes to the membership due to the retirement of Debbie Laudermilk. As stated in the Committee Directives and Responsibilities, Reagan Grimes will replace her as he is the new Chief Investment Officer. The committee also elected a new Vice Chair, John Frazell, who is a Senior Financial Analyst with TCSO. We are excited to have both serving in their new roles.
