2025-0066 Authorize and Approve replacements for five of our End of Life (EOL) core Cisco Catalyst network switches which includes hardware, licensing, and annual maintenance using TIPS-220105 at a cost of $ 701,992.85 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: January 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: MAJOR TECHNOLOGY FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby That the Commissioners Court approve the acquisition of the Cisco Catalyst Network switch hardware from Presidio using the TIPS-220105 at a total cost of $701,992.85. The solution includes hardware, licensing, and maintenance. Funding is available in the Major Technology Fund - Computer Hardware -100.19500.1090.68630.10000.
