Consider and take appropriate action to approve Modification 3 to the LFRF Interlocal Agreement with Integral Care for Youth Mental Health First Aid. (Judge Brown)

<p style="margin-left: 4px;" data-pasted="true">The Children’s Mental Health Crisis Response Messaging Project, facilitated by Dr. Desmar Walkes of Austin Public Health (“APH”) and Dr. Kathleen Casey, PhD of Integral Care, recommended this investment. On April 18, 2023, Travis County Health and Human Services Department (“HHS”) presented a funding request to support community-wide YMHFA Training to the Travis County Commissioners Court (“Court”). The Court allocated Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (“LFRF”) to support this effort on April 20, 2023.</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Contract term, investment amount, and funding source: August 1, 2023 – December 31, 2025; one hundred seventy thousand dollars ($170,000); and LFRF.</li><li>Contract modification: Fifty-two thousand and four dollars and seventy-one cents ($52,004.71) of LFRF funding was added to the Contract on June 1, 2024, to further public awareness and education of youth mental health.</li><li>Contract modification: On December 5, 2025, the Contract term was extended through August 31, 2026.</li></ul><br>This modification is the third one and extends the expiration date of the contract to September 30, 2026. It also realigns the allocations for the public awareness and education components of the project to support full expenditure of this LFRF funded contract.
