Total Estimated Project Cost of $233,400 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 17, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funds; Match Requirement Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the District Attorney to submit the grant application to TxDOT to fund the new position under the Dallas County: Improving Investigation, Processing & Prosecution of Intoxication Manslaughter Cases project in the amount of $ 173,263 with an in-kind match of $60,137, for a total estimated project cost of $233,400, and authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant project is from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. Done in open Court March 17, 2026 by the following vote:
