2025-0604 Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: June 3, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: n/a Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby recognize June as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, we encourage all residents to engage in efforts that raise awareness, promote brain health, support individuals and families affected by dementia, and advocate for continued research and improved care.
