The Technology and Operations Department desires to obtain the services of a qualified contractor to provide locksmithing and door security services for the County.<br><br>These services are necessary to ensure proper operation and integrity related to door security and locking systems of County facilities, including the installation, repair, and replacement of locks, doors, frames and hardware and therefore critical in maintaining public security and safety of County facilities, and the safety of County residents and staff.<br><br>Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 262.024, a contract for services necessary to preserve and protect public health and safety of County residents is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the Commissioners Court by order grants the exemption.<br><br>This contract is anticipated to exceed $50,000.00 over the life of the contract.<br id="isPasted"><br><strong>Contract Information: </strong><br>Contract No.: 4400008659<br>Contractor Name: Cothron Safe and Lock Company, Inc. dba Cothrons Security Professionals<br>Contract Award Amount: As needed<br>Contract Period: Execution – September 30, 2031
