2026-0820 Approve and Authorize the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Dallas County, on Behalf of the Dallas County Criminal Justice Department (DCCJD) and North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) for Services Provided in Support of the FY2026 Office of the Governor State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) Grant Award. On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 4, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: FY2026 Texas Office of the Governor Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) Grant Award, Project Number: 0663026 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize the Memorandum of Understanding Between Dallas County, Texas and the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA), on Behalf of the Dallas County Criminal Justice Department for the FY2026 Office of the Governor State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) Grant Award, and to authorize the County Judge to sign the agreement and any other related documents.
