2025-0900 Approve the purchase of Data Closet EOL/Failing UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Replacement Equipment from Southern Computer Warehouse (SCW) for an amount not to exceed $612,310.81 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 19, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: MAJOR TECHNOLOGY FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the purchase of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Replacement Equipment from Southern Computer Warehouse (SCW) for an amount not to exceed $612,310.81 using the State of Texas DIR Agreement # DIR-CPO-4793. Funding is available in the Major Technology Fund - Computer Hardware Account - (100.19500.1090.68630.10000).
