2025-0928 Senior Center Month On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: September 2, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: NA Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dallas County Commissioners Court hereby proclaims September 2025 as Senior Center Month in Dallas County and recognizes the contributions of the Walnut Senior Center, and all senior center, in promoting the health and well-being of older adults. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Commissioners Court encourages all residents to support and participate in senior center programs and activities that strengthen our communities and enhance the lives of older adults.
