Bright Light Boulevard Segment 2 is a proposed plat for a portion of the proposed Bright Light Boulevard in City of Autin Extra Territorial Jurisdication (ETJ), a street that will be an extension of Main Street (in Hays County) from Sunfield Parkway east to Turnersville Road. This property is located within the boundaries of Sunfield Municipal Utility District (MUD) No.2, which spans Hays County, Travis County and City of Austin ETJ. The plat was reviewed under City of Austin/Travis County Single Office case #C8J-2026-0011.1A and is ready for administrative approval. <br><br data-pasted="true">Under the authority of Article III, Section 52, Texas Constitution, and in accordance with Texas Water Code §54.234 and 30 Texas Administrative Code §293.201, subject to the requirements of TCEQ and general laws of the State of Texas relating to the exercise of powers, Sunfield MUD No. 2, has acquired road powers to own and maintain the roads inside their district. Per the Bright Light Boulevard Segment 3 plat, Sunfield Investments LLC will dedicate a portion of Bright Light Boulevard as a public road and Sunfield MUD No. 2 is to accept it for maintenance and ownership at no cost to Travis County. <br><br>Sunfield Investments LLC and Sunfield Municipal Utility District No.2 wish to enter into a Subdivision Construction Agreement with Travis County to set forth the responsibilities of each party for the construction, approval, and acceptance of segment 3 of Bright Light Boulevard. Per the agreement, the developer, Sunfield Investments LLC, will post fiscal security with City of Austin/Travis County Single Office for the estimated cost to construct the streets and drainage to ensure the improvements meet County requirements. Once the street and drainage construction is complete, approved by Travis County TNR inspectors, and accepted for maintenance by Sunfield Municipal Utility District No.2; Commissioners Court will be notified of successful completion of the road and fiscal security posted for streets and drainage will be released.
