2025-1084 Dallas County Sheriff North Texas Auto Theft Task Force Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with Rockwall County – Amount not to exceed $135,226 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 7, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority Grant Funds Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office North Texas Auto Theft Task Force to enter an Interlocal Agreement with Rockwall Sheriff’s Office to participate in Task Force activities and authorizes the County Judge to sign any related documents. Rockwall SO has agreed to pay a total of $135,226 in salary and fringe benefits (100%) for the assigned detective as its contribution to the NTATTF.
