2025-1413 Authorize and approve the purchase of additional storage for Cohesity from Storage Assessments, LLC for the IT Department through Carahsoft's Department of Information Resources (DIR), contract No. DIR-CPO-5687, authorized by Chapter 271, Section 271.102(a)(c) of the Texas Local Government Code – Amount not to exceed $ 483,669.66, with funding from the Major Technology Fund Account – Computer Hardware. On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: December 2, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: MAJOR TECHNOLOGY FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the purchase of additional storage for Cohesity from Storage Assessments, LLC for the IT Department through Carahsoft 's Department of Information Resources (DIR), contract No. DIR-CPO-5687, authorized by Chapter 271, Section 271.102(a)(c) of the Texas Local Government Code – Amount not to exceed $483,669.66, with funding from the Major Technology Fund Account – Computer Hardware (100.19500.1091.68630.10000).
