2026-0211 2026 Lunar New Year On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 17, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: n/a Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby recognize and celebrate Lunar New Year 2026 in Dallas County and extends its best wishes for good fortune, prosperity, health and happiness to all who observe this special occasion during the Year of the Horse.
