5.G. Consider/Approve Purchase Renewal of Solution Tree for the 2026-2027 School Year Description: Priority #1: Optimize Engaging and Diverse Learning Solution Tree provides campus-embedded coaching and professional development designed to build staff capacity and improve student achievement. Support is customized to address campus-specific needs, with a focus on areas such as Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), data analysis, and planning for targeted interventions. Over the past several years, Solution Tree has provided ongoing professional learning and coaching to a variety of campuses across the district. Based on identified campus needs, progress, and feedback from campus leadership, the recommendation for the 2026-2027 school year is to continue Solution Tree support at the three campuses that participated last year—Stark, Smith, and Turner—while expanding the support to one additional campus, Bush Middle School. This continued and expanded partnership will provide sustained, job-embedded support to strengthen collaborative practices, data-driven decision-making, and instructional planning focused on improving student outcomes. The cost is $142,000 using Title 2 funds. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approves the renewal of Solution Tree for the 2026-2027 school year and delegates authority to the Superintendent, or her designee, to execute contracts in the best interest of the District.
