2026-0715 Approve Interlocal Agreement between North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and Dallas County– FIFA World Cup Grant Program to provide law enforcement officers for additional intelligence detail activities; Grant Subaward Amount of $263,981; No Cash Match Required On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: June 16, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: NCTCOG Grant Funds; No Cash Match Required Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and Dallas County for the FIFA World Cup Grant Program, in the amount of $263,981, with no cash match requirement; approve a Resolution signed by the Commissioners Court’s members; and authorize the County Judge to execute all necessary documents on behalf of Dallas County. The grant period is from August 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026.
