2025-0581 Rescind Court Order 2025-0499 and Amended Approval of Claim of Dolores Zavala Moreira (Property Damage, Final Settlement) On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 20, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby rescind Court Order 2025-0499, dated May 6, 2025, and it is further ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $981.93, made payable to CSM in Trust for USAA General Indemnity Company, as a full and final settlement, for the property damage claim of Dolores Zavala Moreira, arising from an automobile accident involving Dallas County employee Lamar Chisley on/or around January 23, 2025. That the County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and the County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, for disbursement and satisfaction.
