2026-0022 Approval of Addendum to Full and Final Settlement of Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas Acting as Administrators on Behalf of the Dissolution Committee for the Former Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools vs. Curtis Law, P.C.; Cause No. DC-24-18176, pending in the District Court of Dallas County, Texas, 192nd Judicial District On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: January 6, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order approving an addendum to the settlement, approved by Court Order 2025-1053, whereby Curtis Law will pay the County $4,643.83 of the $6,965.75 Bus Patrol payment as part of the resolution of the matter styled Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas Acting as Administrators on Behalf of the Dissolution Committee for the Former Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools vs. Curtis Law, P.C.; Cause No. DC-24-18176, pending in the District Court of Dallas County, Texas, 192nd Judicial District. The County Treasurer is authorized to accept the payment of $4,643.83 and the County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for the addendum on behalf of Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas, Acting as Administrators on Behalf of the Dissolution Committee for the Former Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools.
