Travis County Sheriff's Office is requesting Commissioners Court approval of a purchase for The Wrap Restraint System, which is a device used to safely restrain individuals who may pose a threat to themselves or others.<br><br data-pasted="true">Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 262.024, an item that is necessary to preserve or protect the public health or safety of the residents of the county, is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the Commissioners Court by order grants the exemption.
