<strong>Background/Summary of Request and Attachments:</strong><br id="isPasted">On June 10, 2025 the Travis County Commissioners Court granted the Applicant, Cameron Road Apartments, Ltd (represented by the NRP Group), in partnership with Travis County Facilities Corporation a RONO in anticipation of Applicant’s plans to request 4% non-competitive Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). In accordance with Travis County Code Chapter 277, the CDBG Office completed a Fair Housing analysis of the proposed project, and TNR reviewed site suitability based on the developer’s feasibility study.<br><br>Following execution of the original RONO, TDHCA requested revisions to the RONO to ensure the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) metrics align with State statute requirements. <br><br><strong>TDHCA Request for Revisions</strong><br>As the Applicant worked with TDHCA on their LIHTC Application, it was noted that Travis County RONOs have historically only expressed no objection to the QAP violations. State statute requires that the County express support of the project despite these LIHTC concentration metrics.
