2025-1399 District Attorney – Approval of a One-Time Donation from the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office (DAO) to Big Thought’s Creative Solutions Program, Amount not to Exceed $109,000 – Funding Available Within DA State Forfeiture Fund (40007) On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: December 2, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: District Attorney Chapter 59 State Forfeiture Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve a one-time donation from the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office (DAO) to Big Thought’s Creative Solutions Program, in an amount not to exceed $109,000 – with funding available within DA Chapter 59 State Forfeiture Funds.
