2026-0868 Authorize Work Order No. 2 between Dallas County and Raba Kistner, Inc. to fund Professional Specialty Services on the Simonds Road Bridge at Hickory Creek, Road and Bridge - Bridge Maintenance and Reserves Project 0002N On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 4, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Road and Bridge Reserves Fund 10505, Project 0002N (100.10505.2550.68312.70000.0000) Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Approve and authorize the execution of Work Order No. 2 between Dallas County and Raba Kistner, Inc. for professional specialty services in response to TxDOT’s bridge inspection. The Consultant will provide the construction phase services for reviewing contractor submittals, responding to RFI’s from the contractor, attending construction meetings, construction site visits, record drawings and project close out, and invoicing for the Simonds Road Bridge at Hickory Creek, Road and Bridge - Bridge Maintenance and Reserves Project 0002N. The total cost of Work Order No. 2 is not to exceed Fifty Thousand, Eighty-Nine Dollars, and Ninety-Two cents ($50,089.92) . The Project is being funded by Road and Bridge Reserves Fund 10505, Project 0002N (100.10505.2550.68312.70000.0000).
