Consider/Approve the Renaming of Ted Polk Middle School to Reflect Academic Focus Description: Priority #1: Optimize Engaging & Diverse Learning As part of the 2026-2027 Strategic Staffing Proposal, Polk Middle School is being reimagined through new leadership, a renewed academic focus, and the implementation of a standardized dress code. Following the Board's approval of this initiative, including the dress code, at the June 4, 2026, meeting, staff will present the rationale for the proposed name change as part of the campus rebranding effort designed to support academic excellence. Staff will also share the recommendations and feedback from the committee established to review the standardized dress code. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approves the renaming of Ted Polk Middle School to Ted Polk Preparatory Academy as presented. Attachments: ( 1 ) 6B.
