2025-0867 Women's Equality Day 2025 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 19, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: NA Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby proclaims August 26, 2025, as Women’s Equality Day in Dallas County, urging our community to celebrate women’s achievements and recommit to the work that remains for true equality because we are not done yet.
