2025-1224 Authorize and approve the Material Use Agreement between Dallas County, on behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) Public Health Laboratory (PHL), and Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, to receive material for validation and implementation of a real time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) assay in the Tuberculosis (TB) lab at DCHHS On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund: 12000 Dept. 5122 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize and approve the Material Use Agreement between Dallas County, on behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) Public Health Laboratory (PHL), and Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, to receive material for validation and implementation of a real time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) assay in the Tuberculosis (TB) lab at DCHHS.
