A. HHS has received the Notice of Grant Award for the 2026-2027 Americorps grant year for Commissioners Court approval and signature. The new grant award amount is $399,995 and the budget year runs from 08/01/26 through 07/31/27, funding personnel and volunteer costs for the Travis County CAPITAL AmeriCorps program that serves 14 full-time AmeriCorps members. Travis County is required to provide matching funds of $743,791 for the award. Health and Human Services has identified funding for the match within their existing general fund budget. B. TCDAO is requesting approval to apply for the ICJR grant solicited by the Office of Violence Against Women, in the amount of 1,300,000 over three years to hire a full-time prosecutor and three full-time victim counselors to assist victims. This is a grant TCDAO is currently wrapping up and would like to apply to continue. No match required. C. TCJPD is requesting to renew an ILA with Integral Care in the amount of $124,478 for one year to support youth with behavioral health needs. No match required. D. TCJPD has received a grant award for the 2026-2027 National School Lunch/Breakfast Program and USDA Commodity Program from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This is a reimbursement grant that the department has previously been awarded. Based on the most recent year’s reimbursement amount, TCJPD anticipates approximately $192,301 over a one-year period.
