2025-0545 Texas Flood Awareness Week - May 19-23, 2025 On a motion made by Commissioner John Wiley Price, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 20, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: NA Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby recognize the State of Texas’s proclamation of Flood Awareness Week on May 19-23, 2025, and urges everyone in our community to be informed and prepared for floods and flash floods. Always “Turn Around, Don’t Drown” – you could save the life of a loved one.
