2025-0488 Grant Submission; Continuation; Community Supervision and Corrections Department – Fiscal Year 2026 Office of the Governor – Criminal Justice Division, Specialty Courts Grant Program – Achieving True Liberty and Success (ATLAS) court; Grant Request Amount of $160,475; No Cash Match Needed On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 6, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: State Grant Funds; No cash match requirement Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Approve the Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) to submit the grant application to the Criminal Justice Division to seek funding for ATLAS treatment court in the amount of $160,475 with no Countywide cash match required; a resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement for funding the grant and authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant period starts on September 1, 2025, and ends on August 31, 2026.
