2026-0912 Authorize and approve the Educational Experience Program Affiliation Agreement between The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University and Dallas County, on behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS), to provide students with an observational educational experience On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 18, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund: 12000 Dept: 5120 - Health Administration Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize and approve the Educational Experience Program Affiliation Agreement between The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University and Dallas County, on behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS), to provide students with an observational educational experience.
