Consider/Approve Fourth Payment of HMH TX Into Reading & Arriba La Lectura to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Description: Priority #1: Optimize Engaging and Diverse Learning This original purchase was approved in November 2023 to supplement the K-5 English and Spanish Language Arts curriculum resources.  The resources provide materials to cover 100% of the state standards and align to legislative requirements. The district data indicated gaps in early literacy skill areas that needed to be strengthened. The Spanish curriculum materials provide a high-quality resource to help with language development. All campuses K-5 utilize the material. Payment #4 is in the amount of $284,593.85 using local and state funding sources. Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approves the purchase payment for HMH TX Into Reading & Arriba La Lectura to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and authorizes the Superintendent or her designee to execute purchases or contract in the best interest of the District.
