14.B. Approval of: (1) Farm and Ranch Contract between Kenneth Klein, as Seller, and Denton County, Texas, as Buyer, for the purchase of real property described as 16.257 +/- acres, A0002A, J. Ayers, TR 46, Old DCAD TR 15, Denton County, Texas ("the Property"), for the purchase price of $450,000.00, plus all applicable closing costs, including title insurance policy, boundary survey with real estate commission payable by listing or principal broker to Newland Real Estate, Inc.; (2) grant authorization to proceed with closing and approval for the Denton County Judge to sign all necessary closing documents; (3) grant authorization for the Denton County Auditor and the Denton County Treasurer, as applicable, to pay Earnest Money in the amount of $4,500.00 to Freedom Title, within ten days of the effective date of the contract and to pay all remaining funds due at closing; and (5) with funding to come from Permanent Improvement Funds, and any appropriate action.
