A. HHS has received the award notification letter for the 2026-2027 grant year (for $399,995) but not the notice of grant award (NOGA). The NOGA is what goes to Commissioners Court for approval and signature. <span data-teams="true" data-pasted="true">Because the grant award has not yet been received, and is not expected to be received until after the new grant year starts on 08/01/26, HHS requests a permission to continue critical staff positions funded through the grant until the award is received and can be executed.</span><br>B.  HHS has submitted a Deobligation Amendment for <span data-teams="true" data-pasted="true"><span data-teams="true" data-pasted="true">the 2025-2026 AmeriCorps award, reducing the reimbursable amount from $400,000 to $378,948.</span></span>
