2025-1200 Approval of Settlement of Claim of Tina Marie Lopez for Property Damage Final Settlement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check for $13,328.66, made payable to Clerkin, Sinclair and Mahfouz (CSM), in Trust for USAA, as a full and final settlement, for the property damage claim of Tina Marie Lopez, arising from an automobile accident involving Dallas County employee Gerald Yarbrough or around July 7, 2025. That the County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and the County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, for disbursement and satisfaction.
