The Pearce Lane Widening and Pearce Lane at Kellam Road Intersection Improvement was approved by Travis County Commissioners Court on September 05, 2019. The roadway projects are both FY 2018 Critical Safety Projects, which were approved by Travis County Commissioners Court to be combined on February 19, 2019. The project length is three miles and extends from Kellam Road to Wolf Lane (FM 535). The existing two-lane road is to be expanded to a four-lane divided arterial and will include bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides of the road, and curb and gutter, along with drainage and water quality infrastructure in Travis County, Precinct Four. Modification No. 5 adds design services to Work Products 2 – 4, for retaining walls, illumination, and archaeological, environmental, and geotechnical services. This contract modification will increase the total contract value by $265,097.85, from $4,283,379.65 to $4,548,477.50. Modification No. 3, approved by Commissioners Court on August 30, 2022, added additional services in Work Product 2, in the amount of $121,784.30, increasing the contract amount from $1,526,409.35 to $1,648,193.65. Modification No. 2, approved by the Purchasing Agent on June 21, 2021, updated the HUB Program Declaration’s language. Modification No. 1, approved by Commissioners Court on September 01, 2020, added additional services in Work Product 2, in the amount of $196,409.35, increasing the contract amount from $1,330,000.00 to $1,526,409.35.
