2026-0156 Grant Submission; New; Community Supervision and Corrections Department – Fiscal Year 2027 Office of the Governor – Emerging Adult Caseload; Grant Request Amount of $380,009; No Cash Match Requirement; Total Project Amount of $380,009 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 3, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Office of the Governor; Grant Funds; No Cash Match Required Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Community Supervision and Corrections Department to submit the grant application to the Office of the Governor for the FY2027 Emerging Adult Caseload award in the amount of $380,009; no cash match required. In addition, a resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement for funding the grant and authorize the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant project is from September 1, 2026, and ends August 31, 2027.
