<p data-pasted="true">The Old Kimbro Road Safety Improvement Project is a Travis County Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) project located in Precinct One.  The project will install approximately one mile of edge line and centerline pavement markings along Old Kimbro Road.  The project has received FY27 HSIP construction funding and will be delivered under a single PS&E package, with TxDOT administering the construction letting.</p><p>On August 22, 2024, the Texas Transportation Commission authorized funding. The authorized work includes preliminary design, environmental plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), and preliminary striping and centerline markings for the Kimbro Road corridor extending from approximately 0.928 miles north of Old Highway 20 to Old Highway 20.  The Project is located partially within the corporate limits of the City of Manor and partially within the unincorporated area of Travis County. A map depicting the length of improvements along Old Kimbro Road is included as <strong>Exhibit A</strong> to the attached Interlocal Agreement (ILA).</p><p>The City of Manor and Travis County are partnering to advance the planning, design, and construction of the Project through the terms of the attached Interlocal Agreement. The existing paving needs to be redone prior to striping being done by TXDOT.</p>
