In 2023, the County entered into an agreement (Contract No. 4400007309) with Eubanks & Associates, PLLC (“Eubanks”) to provide legal services relating to transportation issues.<br id="isPasted"><br>Modification No. 1 requests the contract be exempted pursuant to LGC 262.024 (a)(4), extends the contract through September 30, 2028, increases the agreement’s not-to-exceed (NTE) amount to $60,000.00, and includes language to make it clear that Eubanks is expressly authorized to provide legal services to the County relating to transportation and land use issues, including MoPac, GAP, and I-35 expansion transportation issues and land use issues.<br><br>Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 262.024, a contract for the purchase of a personal or professional service is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the Commissioners Court by order ​grants the exemption.<br><br><strong>Contract Information:</strong><br>Contract No.: 4400007309<br>Contractor Name: Eubanks & Associates, PLLC<br>Contract Modification Amount: $30,000.00<br>Contract Period: October 24, 2023 – September 30, 2028
