2026-0336 FY2027 – Sheriff's Office – Dallas County North Texas Auto Theft Task Force Acceptance of Texas Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (MVCPA) Application for Grant Funds On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 17, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: MVCPA Grant Funds Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the North Texas Auto Theft Task Force to submit the FY27 MVCPA grant application for continued funding and authorize the County Judge to sign the attached resolution required for submission.
