<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>The Texas Office of Court Administration (OCA) recommends that courts establish and maintain emergency preparedness and continuity of operations plans to ensure essential court functions can continue during and following an emergency, disaster, or other disruption to normal operations.</li><li>The City of Denison Municipal Court Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan has been developed to provide a framework for maintaining critical court operations during emergencies, including natural disasters, facility disruptions, public health emergencies, technology failures, security incidents, and other events that may impact the Court's ability to conduct normal business.</li><li>The Municipal Court Emergency Preparedness and COOP Plan was reviewed in coordination with applicable City departments, including Emergency Management, and incorporates current emergency preparedness practices and operational procedures.</li><li>The Municipal Court Emergency Preparedness and COOP Plan will be maintained as a controlled operational document and periodically reviewed to ensure continued effectiveness and alignment with applicable guidance and City emergency management practices.</li></ul>
