Counsel at First Appearance (CAFA) is an important component of effective pretrial justice. Providing quality representation at an accused individual’s first appearance before a judicial officer has been shown to reduce jail populations and legal costs and strengthens procedural justice. Travis County now requires professional services from TechShare to help with the analysis, design and creation of the CAFA Magistration Case Management System. TechShare Magistration will be the first vendor hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) required for integration in the CAFA environment. <br><br id="isPasted">The TechShare.Magistration Implementation Phase II, project will provide professional services for transitioning Travis County to a fully electronic magistration process by implementing and developing the requirements that were gathered in Phase I. Project also entails comprehensive training and documentation to enable smooth adoption and ongoing support.
