2026-0603 Fiscal Office – Approval for Retitle and Repurpose of One Purchasing Auditor and One Junior Auditor – Funding Available Within Departmental Budget On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 19, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve of the Fiscal Office’s request to retitle and repurpose one (1) Purchasing Auditor (Position #1011, Current Grade 12) and one (1) Junior Auditor (Position #1017, Current Grade 10) to better align with evolving operational needs and workload demands. Human Resources/Civil Service will review the requested position for proper grade, classification and title before final approval and implementation.
