2025-0965 Authorize Dallas County Health and Human Services/Older Adult Services Program (DCHHS/OASP) - FY2026 Older Americans Act Program Notification of Intent to Contract for the release of funds for payment of all operating expenses of the DCHHS/OASP – Senior Center Operations, Congregate Meals, and Transportation programs, beginning October 1, 2025, through such time as funding and issuance of a contract from Dallas Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: September 2, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund: 466, Grant: 8400, 8401, 8403 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize the release of funds for payment of all operating expenses of the DCHHS/OASP – Senior Center Operations, Congregate Meals, and Transportation programs, beginning October 1, 2025, through such time as funding and issuance of a contract from DAAA.
