2025-1141 Authorize Change Order No. 42 between Structural Assurance and Dallas County to add additional funding for construction for Medical District Drive, Major Capital Improvements Program 30228, Road and Bridge District 4 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 7, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund 196 MCIP 30228 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Authorize the County Judge to execute the attached Change Order No. 42 for the Medical District Drive MCIP 30228 Project to expand the scope of services, as well as provide for the compensation accordingly, and to allow for an additional cost not to exceed Five Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand, Twenty-Five Dollars and twenty-one cents ($585,025.21). Funding for the work authorized by this Change Order No. 42 will be paid from MCIP Fund 196, Project 30228. A transfer is necessary from Fund 196 Project 8201 to Fund 196 Project 30228.
