2025-1132 Authorize and approve Amendment No. 3 to the Texas Department of State Health Services Contract No. HHS001439500006 – Public Health Emergency Preparedness to reduce the FY2026 contract funding by 28% and revise the federal award information and certain attachments to the contract to support continued activities under the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Cooperative Agreement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 7, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund 46600, Grant 08723 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve Amendment No. 3 to the Texas Department of State Health Services Contract No. HHS0014395000006 – Public Health Emergency Preparedness, and authorize the County Judge to sign the contract on behalf of Dallas County.
