2025-0395 Request for Double-Fill for the 44th Civil District Court, Court Coordinator On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 1, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve a double-fill for the 44th Civil District Court, Court Coordinator position (position #3186) at an estimated cost of $14,385 with funding available within budget (100.12000.4115.61020.40000). The three criteria established in the County’s double-fill policy are met with this request. At present, the office is staffed by a single court coordinator, and the double-fill would avoid leaving the position vacant, which could disrupt court operations.
