2025-0029 Dallas County Marshal Service Equipment Request Briefing: Active Shooter Training Gear and Daily Operational Equipment – Not to Exceed $152,674 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: January 7, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund – Within Departmental Budget Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the requested funding of $152,674 for the procurement of the specified equipment. This investment will directly contribute to the safety, preparedness, and operational efficiency of the Dallas County Marshal Service while supporting its mission to protect county assets, personnel, and the public effectively. These items are requested to be approved with the understanding that funding will be from within the Marshal Service budget.
