2026-0101 Authorize Policy and Procedures for Travel Per Diem Advancement to Ryan White Planning Council Volunteers On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: January 20, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: TBD Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Travel Advance Policy & Procedure for RWPC members, and authorize a limited waiver of the applicable reimbursement-only provisions of the Dallas County Code, as necessary, to permit per diem advances for these volunteers participating in federally funded program activities, consistent with federal grant requirements and the controls outlined in the policy.
