2025-0267 Request for Double-Fill of 203rd Criminal District Court, Court Reporter Position #3715 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 4, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve a double-fill for the 203rd Criminal District Court, Court Reporter position (Grade CR, #3715) at an estimated cost of $42,287 with funding available within budget (100.12000.4420.61040.40000). The three criteria established in the County’s double-fill policy are met with this request. The existing staff in the office cannot absorb the additional workload because of a vacancy in the office.
