The Facilities Management Department (FMD) has been working with the County Attorney’s Office to draft the attached license agreement between Travis County and Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District (SWTCGCD) to use 630 square feet of space at Precinct 3 Office Building A, 2nd floor, room 224, located at 8656 State Hwy 71 West, Austin, Texas.<br id="isPasted"> <br>The SWTCGCD has been using this space since March 1, 2020, via an approved license agreement which will expire on February 28, 2026. <br> <br>The SWTCGCD send the attached letter dated January 7, 2026, requesting a renewal of the current license agreement to use the current space in Precinct 3 Office Building A. The requested space is available on the 2<sup>nd</sup> floor of building A. Therefore, according to Chapter 244, the SWTCGCD met the requirements for a discount price and FMD would recommend to the Commissioners Court that SWTCGCD continues to pay the discounted cost of space to $1 per year. <br> <br>The term of the license agreement would be for one year starting on March 1, 2026, and ending on February 28, 2027, with four one-year options to renew until February 2031.
