2025-1336 Grant Submission and Acceptance; Continuation, Juvenile – Fiscal Year 2026 Office of the Governor – Mental Health Court; Grant Award Amount of $71,670; Cash Match Needed of $23,921; Total Estimated Project Amount $95,591 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: November 18, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Office of the Governor; Grant Funds; Cash Match Needed Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve FY2026 Office of the Governor – Mental Health Court grant award in the amount of $71,670with a cash match needed in the amount of $23,921 for a total estimated project cost of $95,591;cash match was included in FY2026 Countywide match. In addition, a resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement for the grant award and authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant project is from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026.
